Give the Gift of Hope This Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, you have the power to make an extraordinary difference in the lives of those we serve via The Global Justice Institute. GJI provides pastoral support, and when possible, financial support to LGBTQ+ ministries in areas of the world where to be associated with Queer communities can be dangers and sometimes even deadly.
The Global Justice Institute has supported a Water Project in Botswana, we have representation on the Council for Global Equality, our bishops have been part of prayer vigils at Alligator Alcatraz, the ministries of our GJI members include feeding and shelter programs, and we’ve recently helped a Protestant minister in a Muslim country with fees to complete his seminary education. We’ve confronted the Southern Baptist anti-marriage equality rhetoric, we’ve supported hurricane relief efforts, and we release press releases frequently dealing with justice issues of the moment such as this year’s World AIDS Day memo naming AIDS funding as a moral duty.
That’s some of what your contributions make possible. Our office space is donated by MCC New York and every leader of GJI works for FREE. They volunteer their time to this worthy ministry. On this giving Tuesday, we’d like you to consider contributing to the Global Justice Institute.
