“And what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice and to love kindness
and to walk humbly with your God?”
- Micah 6:8b (NRSVUE)
Our Activism
-
Activism Through Advocacy
Whether it’s preserving the right to choose, addressing issues of gun violence, or combatting racial disparities in our local and national communities, we encourage and equip people of all backgrounds to give voice to these issues to their elected representatives and government officials. We also center the voices of those directly affected in these and many more areas.
-
Activism Through Worship
Does your faith community have adequate tools to give voice to the issues of our time through acts of worship? It can feel overwhelming to try to write liturgies every week that seek to give voice to the “issue of the day.” The Global Justice Institute works to provide worship resources and leadership to those who are seeking a more justice-centered experience during their service times together.

Activism Through the Internet
Through our press releases, online presence, and social activism we believe we are a prophetic mouthpiece pointing the world toward its moral and spiritual center. We gather online to show the world our solidarity and our community building practices.
-
Activism Through Speaking Up
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
